CEP Goals

ELA
By June, 2022, we will strengthen our instructional core and advance equity by providing the professional supports needed to maintain the integrity of our ELA/Literacy program to ensure access to the curriculum for all students. Our work this year will prioritize building language and comprehension through discussion, resulting in a 3% increase for all students, from 75% to 78%, and a 3% increase for Hispanic students from 42% to 45% , and a 3% increase for SWD's from 30% to 33% performing at or above grade level, as measured by the i-Ready Reading Diagnostic.

Math
By June, 2022, we will strengthen the instructional core and advance equity through the utilization of strategic data systems and the revision of professional learning output expectations, thus building capacity. With a focus on the priority learning standards, we will invest in the development of rigorous, authentic learning tasks, resulting in a 5% increase for all students, from 72% to 77%, and a 3% increase for Hispanic students, from 33% to 36%, performing at or above grade level, as measured by the i-Ready Math Diagnostic.

Supportive Environment Framework
By June, 2022, the school will deepen our understanding of Social and Emotional Learning Competencies by engaging in ongoing professional development to support the implementation of a comprehensive school-wide SEL curriculum, resulting in improved self-awareness and self-management skills. The Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education/Attendance/Social Emotional Learning (CASEL) Team will lead the work of this goal. Our goal for next year is to have an increase of 8% of students reporting that they use emotional regulation strategies that fall under the CASEL Competency of Self-Management, as measured by the SEL survey.

Quality Individualized Education Program
By June, 2022, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for All Students with Disabilities (SWD), we will improve the creation of quality IEPS that include annual goals that indicate benchmarked progress monitoring by Increase of 3%, from 87% to 90%, as measured by IEP reviews.
